Hello

I started Papaw Pierce's Prose and Poetry with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences. I have written these posts with the intention of sharing them and recording a legacy story that my grandchild may treasure long after I leave her world. I was nearly sixty-five years old when she was born. I became a Papaw Pierce at that moment! To join this "Grandfather fraternity" was a most treasured honor knowing how special the members prior to my membership which included my own Papaw Pierce, my father, and each of my brothers. I am hoping this becomes a place that Grandfathers and Grandmothers may visit and use in the same manner as I intend. And, that this collection of insights and stories are an encouragement to all who may view these postings. Take some time to explore the blog and see for yourself what makes you curious and eager.
