As sure as the sky-blue heavens,
As sure as the deep blue oceans,
As sure as my fallacies, unbridle tongue, undisciplined mind,
As sure as my sins, prideful spirit, critical attitude,
As sure as Thy Word, Thy Promises, Thy Love,
As sure as Thy blessings, and Thy judgment.
Shall come the day of the Lord.
And as sure as the old red barn on the hill,
Those suckling calves, that yet belong to Thee,
You will set free from the stall, and they shall be free indeed,
To playfully jump, to bound endless, to rejoice in Thy presence and provision!
